Nurtec ODT is a medication that can be placed under or onto the tongue to treat migraine symptoms in adults. When taken every other day, it can also be used to prevent episodic migraine. Nurtec ODT works by blocking CGRP, a protein believed to contribute to migraine attacks by causing pain, blood vessel dilation, and inflammation. The medication is well-tolerated, with less than 2% of individuals reporting nausea. Nurtec ODT is FDA approved for the following indications: Migraine and Migraine prevention.

Vypeti is a prescription medication used for migraine prevention. It is administered as an intravenous infusion four times a year. The most common reported side effects were stuffy nose and scratchy throat. Vyepti is FDA approved for the following indications: Migraine prevention.
