Nurtec ODT is a medication that can be placed under or onto the tongue to treat migraine symptoms in adults. When taken every other day, it can also be used to prevent episodic migraine. Nurtec ODT works by blocking CGRP, a protein believed to contribute to migraine attacks by causing pain, blood vessel dilation, and inflammation. The medication is well-tolerated, with less than 2% of individuals reporting nausea. Nurtec ODT is FDA approved for the following indications: Migraine and Migraine prevention.

Ubrelvy is a medication that adults can use to treat acute migraine attacks. It works by blocking CGRP, a protein believed to contribute to migraine attacks by causing pain, blood vessel dilation, and inflammation. Ubrelvy is well-tolerated, with less than 5% of individuals reporting side effects such as nausea, somnolence, and dry mouth. Ubrelvy does not prevent migraines. Ubrelvy is FDA approved for the following indications: Migraine.
