Dosing
Acne Vulgaris Apply a small (cherry-sized) amount of foam to acne-affected areas of the face and body once daily, at least 1 hour before bedtime; do not bathe, shower, or swim for at least 1 hour after application.
Acne Vulgaris Apply a thin film once daily after washing to affected areas of the face and/or trunk; use a pea-sized amount for each area of the face.

Pharmacology
Tetracycline-class antibiotic; the mechanism of action of AMZEEQ for treatment of acne is unknown, though minocycline is active in vitro against most isolates of Propionibacterium acnes.
Adapalene is a retinoid that modulates cellular differentiation, keratinization, and inflammatory processes; benzoyl peroxide is an oxidizing agent with bactericidal and keratolytic effects.
