Dosing

Pharmacology
Benzoyl peroxide is an oxidizing agent with bactericidal and keratolytic effects; tretinoin is a retinoid that binds retinoic acid nuclear receptors (RARalpha, RARbeta, RARgamma), modifying gene expression, protein synthesis, and epithelial cell growth and differentiation, and decreasing cohesiveness of follicular epithelial cells to reduce microcomedo formation.
Clascoterone is an androgen receptor inhibitor; the exact mechanism of action of WINLEVI cream for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris is unknown.
