Dosing
Psoriasis vulgaris Apply to affected areas once daily for up to 4 weeks; maximum dose not to exceed 60 g every 4 days; rub in gently; do not use with occlusive dressings, on the face, groin, or axillae, or if skin atrophy is present at the treatment site.
Psoriasis vulgaris Apply a thin layer to affected skin twice daily for up to two weeks; total dosage should not exceed 50 grams (50 ml) per week.

Postmarketing Application site burning, atrophy, striae, telangiectasia, dryness, perioral dermatitis, secondary infection, miliaria, cataracts, glaucoma, increased intraocular pressure.

Enstilar Foam combines calcipotriene hydrate, a synthetic vitamin D3 analog, and betamethasone dipropionate, a synthetic corticosteroid; exact mechanisms of action in the treatment of plaque psoriasis are unknown.
Halobetasol propionate is a super-high potency topical corticosteroid that plays a role in cellular signaling, immune function, inflammation, and protein regulation; the precise mechanism of action in plaque psoriasis is unknown.
