Usage: Doxycycline for Injection, USP is indicated for treating infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including rickettsial diseases, mycoplasma pneumonia, certain gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, and anthrax. It is also used as an alternative treatment for specific infections when penicillin is contraindicated and as an adjunctive therapy in acute intestinal amebiasis and trachoma.
