Usage: Acetazolamide is indicated as an adjunctive treatment for edema related to congestive heart failure and drug use, various forms of epilepsy, chronic and secondary glaucoma, and to lower intraocular pressure preoperatively in acute angle-closure glaucoma. It also prevents or alleviates symptoms of acute mountain sickness.
