Usage: Nplate treats thrombocytopenia in adults and children (age 1 and older) with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) unresponsive to corticosteroids, immunoglobulins, or splenectomy. It also increases survival in adults and children acutely exposed to myelosuppressive radiation doses (Hematopoietic Syndrome of Acute Radiation Syndrome).
