Indications
- Acne Vulgaris

Dosing
Acne Vulgaris Apply a small (cherry-sized) amount of foam to acne-affected areas of the face and body once daily, at least 1 hour before bedtime; do not bathe, shower, or swim for at least 1 hour after application.
Acne Vulgaris Apply a thin film once daily to the skin where acne lesions appear, covering the entire affected area lightly.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any tetracycline or any other ingredient in AMZEEQ
- History of hypersensitivity to preparations containing clindamycin or lincomycin
- History of regional enteritis or ulcerative colitis
- History of antibiotic-associated colitis

Pharmacology
Tetracycline-class antibiotic; the mechanism of action of AMZEEQ for treatment of acne is unknown, though minocycline is active in vitro against most isolates of Propionibacterium acnes.
Clindamycin phosphate is a semi-synthetic lincosamide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, suppressing Propionibacterium acnes growth.
