Dosing
Psoriasis vulgaris Apply a thin uniform film to affected skin twice daily for up to 2 weeks; shake can and invert before use; do not exceed 50 g per week; avoid face, groin, and axillae; not for use with occlusive dressings unless directed by physician.
Psoriasis vulgaris, Arthritis, Psoriatic 6 mg orally once daily, with or without food; do not crush, cut, or chew tablets; not recommended in severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh C).

Pharmacology
Topical super-high potency corticosteroid; halobetasol propionate plays a role in cellular signaling, immune function, inflammation, and protein regulation, though its precise mechanism of action in plaque psoriasis is unknown.
TYK2 inhibitor; deucravacitinib binds the regulatory domain of TYK2, allosterically inhibiting receptor-mediated TYK2 activation and downstream STAT signaling via the JAK-STAT pathway.
